A Genius x V Syndicate collaboration with a patented dimple design that creates millions of micro vortices with every breath. These vortices act as a super clever filter that cleans and cools - providing an amazing, water-free dab experience.
The Genius Water Free Dab Rig changed the traditional dab rig game with its promise of full flavored, cooled, powerful rips without the use of water. The secret sauce, is their patented "dimple" design creating millions of air paths throughout the device which filter and cool your vapors with each draw. The Genius Pipe is originally designed for dry herbs, you can still utilize this device for flower since the kit includes a TruTaste Screen, however they've included an attachment titanium nail called the Genius Taster to use with your concentrates. The Genius is not an Electric powered device, a torch is needed to heat the titanium nail attachment prior to dabbing, to keep to its portability we suggest checking out our mini torches to pair with this device!
Quick Tip:
Quartz - Traditionally used for concentrates, quartz is popular with concentrates because of its heat retention. Heat retention depends on the thickness of your insert. Quartz is a great option for lower temperature dabs, however it can withstand high temperatures over time with less likely to crack.
Silicon Carbide - Usually abbreviated SiC, this insert heats quickly and maintains heat evenly in order to get the most out of your concentrates. Silicon Carbide is a cleaner option when it comes to dabbing inserts, it retains heat, and .. oh yeah its bulletproof, we do not recommend testing this out though.
Ceramic - This material is sometimes used for flower/dry herb, it is a slow heating material and can be used for lower temp dabs as well. However if you use this insert for concentrates instead of flower you might find that the taste of your dabs might be altered.
Titanium - Titanium is ideal for higher temp dabs, it does take a longer to heat up however it retains heat longer than quartz would, and cools off faster than ceramic. When titanium is heated until it is bright red it can reach temperatures of 1,200 - 1,500 degrees! Titanium is loved by many because of its durability. If you are looking for flavor, keep in mind, some say that they get a slight metal taste when using titanium.
Most e-nails feature interchangeable parts, which include the heating coil, electronic controller box and banger. There isn't a lot to do in terms of maintenance with a good enail. Never leave the enail on for extended periods of time and do not bend or rip the cord or coil. Of course, you'll still need to do all of the general maintenance required for quartz bangers and the glassware. E-nail parts tend to last for years at a time. When necessary a replacement e-nail coil may run anywhere between 30-60 dollars whereas a e-nail digital controller box would typically run 100-150 dollars. Missing o-ring e-nail clips or silicone e-nail coil clip holders run under $10 while replacement bangers can be found for $10 and up.
As with all dabbing setups, cleaning solutions, cleaning caps, cotton swabs and cleaning brushes aid in maintaining the device to be working as close to “like new” as possible!
